Peanut butter toast
I periodically make this as a snack or pre-breakfast, so I thought I'd do a calorie count on it, and it's way lower than I expected!
The bread is Heidelberg multigrain, though cracked wheat is the same number of calories. A half slice is only 41 cal!
This is the peanut butter that I used.
The surprise was that I used way less than the serving size. I used 10 grams, so that's 60 cal, plus 41 for the bread, so 101 cal.
This is less than a package of peanut butter crackers (170 cal)!
