Salami sandwich
This was really good! I'll definitely make this again. The bitter arugula is good with the salami. It would probably be good with prosciutto or speck.
I used part of the package of Fennel salami in the Appy Hour box.
The bread is Wildgrain slow-fermented ciabatta sandwich roll.
- 1.4 oz. salami
- 1 slice of provolone cheese
- Ciabatta sandwich roll
- Arugula with Briana's balsamic dressing
You could just make your own balsamic dressing from scratch, but I had the salad dressing so I tossed that with the arugula.
With sourdough mini-baguette
I also made it on a quarter of a Wildgrain slow-fermented ciabatta demi baguette and it was good!
With Coppa
I made it with 1.6 oz. of Coppa from the Appy Hour box, previously frozen. It's dry-cured pork shoulder, similar to Prosciutto. On a quarter of a Wildgrain slow-fermented ciabatta demi baguette (previously frozen).
I was a little undecided about the cheese; whether to leave it off, use provolone, or maybe Parmesan, but decided to just stick with sliced provolone since Google says it's a good pairing. It also listed Parmesan, Brie, and cheddar, which I also had available.
Its was good! I'd make this again.
Salami capri
With salami capri from the Appy Hour box on a quarter of a Wildgrain slow-fermented ciabatta demi baguette (both previously frozen).
