Teriyaki London broil

My grocery store stopped carrying sliced London broil which was my favorite of the sandwich roast beef varieties that they sold.

I got this 1.8 lbs. London broil.

Made a small batch of homemade teriyaki marinade with

Bring to a boil in a saucepan, then let simmer for a few minutes. Let cool.

Put the meat in a large vacuum bag. Strain the marinade into the bag. Vacuum seal.

Refrigerate overnight. Flip the bag over once.

Preheat the broiler.

Drain and discard the marinade. Pat the meat dry.

Broil until the temperature in the center reaches 124°F. This took about 20 minutes.

Let rest for at least 10 minutes. I put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour because the next step was to vacuum seal and freeze.

Thinly slice across the grain.

Vacuum seal and freeze.
