What I ate: May 24, 2022

Breakfast: Spicy western omelette. Filling cooked Sunday and reheated, in 1 egg, freshly cooked. And a slice of Heidleberg wheat toast with butter.

Lunch: Quiche Lorraine and a side salad with lettuce mix, cucumber, tomato, and Briana's vinaigrette dressing.

Dinner: Steak, baked potato, and asparagus. And a glass of Bota Box cabernet sauvignon.

 

What I ate: May 23, 2022

Breakfast: Kimchi scrambled eggs on a bed of rice.

Lunch: XCJ Dumplings (6) and rice.

Dinner: Crumb pork chop with rice, sautéed cabbage, and a glass of Bota Box sauvignon blanc.

 

What I ate: May 22, 2022

Breakfast: Bagel, lox and cream cheese on a homemade whole wheat bagel with tomato and red onion. And 2 mimosas.

Lunch: Veggie Buffalo wings and salad. And a half glass of Bota Box sauvignon blanc.

Dinner: Spaghetti with meatballs. With 1.6 oz. spaghetti, 4.5 oz. marinara, and 5 mini-meatballs. With 3 small slices of homemade garlic bread. And a glass of Bota Box shiraz.

 

What I ate: May 21, 2022

Breakfast: Refried black bean, egg and cheese breakfast burrito.

Lunch: Turkey sandwich, with 1.7 oz. smoked turkey, lettuce, and mayo on a slice of Heidleberg whole wheat bread, cut in half. With strawberries and blueberries.

Dinner: Cheeseburger (5.3 oz), potato salad, and coleslaw. And a glass of Bota Box shiraz.

 

What I ate: May 20, 2022

Breakfast: Chorizo breakfast burrito with chorizo, onion, green pepper, jalapeño and egg. Reheat of the filling I cooked Sunday in a freshly heated Mission carb balance whole wheat tortilla.

Lunch: Ham and Swiss cheese half sandwich. With 2.3 oz. ham, 1 slice of Swiss cheese (cut in half), on one slice of Heidelberg whole wheat bread, cut in half. With strawberries and blueberries.

Dinner: Brooks barbecued chicken (previously frozen), 2.5 oz. French fries, and coleslaw. And a glass of Bota Box shiraz.

 

What I ate: May 19, 2022

Breakfast: Bacon, egg and cheese English muffin with 3 slices of bacon, one egg and Cabot extra sharp cheddar cheese on a whole wheat English muffin.

Lunch: Chicken kimchi soup. With 12 oz. chicken stock, 1.7 oz. roasted chicken, kimchi, and spinach.

Dinner: Thanksgiving dinner, previously frozen. Turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, sweet potatoes, and gravy. And a glass of Bota Box sauvignon blanc.

 

What I ate: May 18, 2022

Breakfast: Chorizo breakfast burrito with chorizo, onion, green pepper, jalapeño and egg. Reheat of the filling I cooked Sunday in a freshly heated Mission carb balance whole wheat tortilla.

Lunch: Roast beef on croissant. With 2.9 oz. deli roast beef, horseradish, mayo, and lettuce. With strawberries and blueberries.

Dinner: Tuscan chicken (new recipe). This was good! It's an adaptation of a recipe I found online and it was quite tasty and I'll definitely make this again. And a glass of Bota Box sauvignon blanc.
